The purpose of this Domestic Violence Workshop curriculum is to provide participants with the methods and skills needed to recognize and refrain from engaging in potentially volatile situation within the household and beyond. The curriculum consists of Evidence-based and Clinically Proven Practices that are administered through 13 weeks of intense interactive workshops that are intent on replacing previous beliefs and actions once deemed appropriate with better inter/intrapersonal communication skills. Among the tools used are: PowerPoint Slides, handouts, weekly homework assignments, skits and videos.

Domestic Violence workshop outcomes: After completing this workshop, participants will have gained a better understand of themselves in relation to their spouses. They will learn what led them to believe that they can/should control another person. They will gain better control of their own emotions and apparent need to be in control of their loved ones. And finally, they will learn to exhibit appropriate responses to normal relational adversity.
